Sunday Morning Worship

At Wheatley Park Baptist Church we aim to be as inclusive as possible using a rich mixture of styles and activities in worship. We welcome young and old and those somewhere in between, and people from a rich variety of backgrounds.

We have JuMnior Church for school age children up to sixteen. For younger children we have a well equipped crèche room available for parents and carers to use should they want, with the service relayed to it. Once a month we have an all age "SALT' Service.

Parent & Toddler Group

If you look after a pre-school child why not come along to one of our Parent and Toddler Group sessions? We offer a pleasant environment that is clean and attractively furnished, with a very wide range of play equipment and resources. The sessions are organised by our paid staff so there is no requirement for you to do anything other than to join in the fun with your child!

The play activities vary from week to week and are organised around themes to add interest. We have trays for sand and water play, a painting easel, gluing table and play dough. In another room we have a play house, dressing-up clothes, pushchairs and dolls. We also have a secure outdoor play area, a separate refreshment area, lots of nursery size tables and chairs and a very wide range of Duple, Brio, and other equipment.

We are a friendly and welcoming group, although there is sometimes a waiting list we are always pleased to welcome new members.

We are keen to make sure that parents enjoy being at the Group as much as the children! It can be a difficult job looking after a young child, and parents who come to the Group often comment how much they enjoy talking to other parents.

We are a voluntary Group, supported by the Church. There is a fee for each session, which covers the cost of refreshments and the Groups running costs. We are entirely non-profit making.

Care Group

For us at Wheatley Park Baptist Church we believe that church and being church is not just about Sunday mornings. Our midweek Care Groups are a further expression of church and meet in homes across Doncaster. Here relationships are strengthened as together we explore what the Bible has to say to us today and seek ways to apply what we discover to our lives and the situations where God has put us.

We believe God wants to make a life changing difference in our everyday experiences. There is nothing more exciting than knowing what God's heart is for us and learning to live as he wants. Care Groups aim to help us realise this.

Each Care Group has its own unique approach and atmosphere and so most people will find a Care Group that suits them.
